One of the biggest stars of VTV Bình Điền Long An in recent years will join a new team in the 2026 season.
Libero Nguyễn Khánh Đang has parted ways with the VTV Bình Điền Long An women's volleyball team after both parties failed to reach an agreement on contract renewal, closing a memorable chapter in her elite playing career.
"Today, I officially say goodbye to the club. I want to sincerely thank the club and the management for always trusting and providing opportunities for me to contribute and grow throughout this time.", Khánh Đang wrote on her personal Facebook page. "I am truly grateful to the coaches, the coaching staff, and all my teammates — those who have always supported, helped, and accompanied me along the way. Wishing the whole team success and many achievements in the future."
Following Nguyễn Thị Kim Liên, Nguyễn Khánh Đang is the next outstanding libero that VTV Bình Điền Long An has brought to Vietnamese women's volleyball. Khánh Đang is highly regarded for her consistent performance, quick reflexes, solid first-step receptions, and especially her exceptional ability to organize attacks.
Throughout her time wearing the VTV Bình Điền Long An jersey, the libero born in 2000 has helped the team win numerous impressive titles. Notably, she has secured 4 national championships, affirming the team’s top position domestically. Additionally, Khánh Đang and the club have claimed 4 Hùng Vương Cups, 2 Hoa Lư - Bình Điền Cup gold medals, and notably the runner-up title at the 2025 AVC Champions League — a historic milestone on the continental stage.
Khánh Đang joined the national team in 2023 and quickly became an indispensable member. She has made significant contributions to the team’s remarkable achievements over the past three years: three consecutive AVC Nations Cup titles; top 4 finishes at the Asian Championship and ASIAD 19; bronze medal at the 2024 FIVB Challenger Cup; two silver medals at the SEA Games; the team’s first qualification for the World Championship; and especially the historic gold medal at the second leg of the 2025 SEA V.League.
At that tournament, it was Khánh Đang’s miraculous defensive play that was crucial, enabling Nguyễn Thị Bích Tuyền to deliver a powerful spike that helped Vietnamese women's volleyball defeat Thailand for the first time in history.
