The volleyball indoor event at the 10th National Sports Festival in 2026 has been announced with a detailed plan in Ho Chi Minh City. The event will be split into two phases held at different venues to ensure the scale and professional quality of the country’s largest sports gathering.
Specifically, Rach Mieu Gymnasium (Phu Nhuan District) will host all group stage matches for both men's and women's categories. After the top teams are determined, all medal final matches will be moved to Phu Tho Sports Gymnasium (District 11).
To assist localities and governing bodies in planning their teams, the Organizing Committee plans to issue the official competition regulations before March 1, 2026. One of the most important rules concerns personnel: units must complete athlete registration within the legal deadline.
To be eligible to compete, athletes must have a valid contract of use or transfer contract signed before January 1, 2026. This procedure will be based on the Athlete Transfer Regulations issued by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation Vietnam Volleyball Federation since 2010. For athletes from the armed forces, registration documents must include specialized certification from management units under the Ministry of National Defense or Ministry of Public Security as per current regulations.
