Not long after the decision to leave VTV Bình Điền Long An, Nguyễn Khánh Đang is believed to have secured a new team.
After more than a decade of dedication, the journey of Nguyễn Khánh Đang wearing the VTV Bình Điền Long An jersey has come to an end. The contract between both parties expired on December 31, and they did not agree to renew it.
Although there has been no official announcement about the next destination, many sources suggest Khánh Đang is nearing an agreement with Hanoi women's volleyball club – a newcomer to the 2026 National Championship. Hanoi is reportedly accelerating negotiations and may finalize the deal soon.
If the transfer happens, it will be a major addition to the capital city's team ambitions. Hanoi is mentioned as a heavily invested project aiming to compete strongly from its debut season, even targeting the championship alongside established teams like VTV Bình Điền Long An, LPB Ninh Bình, and Thông tin - Đông Bắc.
Khánh Đang is highly regarded for consistent performance, quick reflexes, and effective defensive organization, making her the type of libero that any ambitious team desires.
Since 2023, Khánh Đang has been called up to the Vietnam women's national volleyball team and quickly became a regular starter. At SEA Games 33, she and her teammates won the silver medal, continuing the same achievement from SEA Games 32.
At the club level, Khánh Đang has had a stable career and earned many titles with VTV Bình Điền Long An. The year 2025 marked a significant milestone when she helped her team win the national championship.
Additionally, she achieved runner-up at the 2025 AVC Champions League, won the 2025 AVC Nations Cup, was runner-up at the VTV Cup, claimed victory in a leg of the 2025 SEA V.League, and represented the national team at the 2025 World Championship.
Besides Khánh Đang, Hanoi Club is also reportedly close to signing other national players such as Vi Thị Như Quỳnh, Lê Thanh Thúy, and several others. If these rumors prove true, the 2026 pre-season transfer market will heat up significantly, intensifying competition among clubs.
