A key player in Vietnamese women's volleyball has made a shocking decision

Libero Nguyễn Khánh Đang will leave the VTV Bình Điền Long An women's volleyball team following unsuccessful contract renewal negotiations.

Libero Nguyễn Khánh Đang will depart from the team volleyball women's VTV Bình Điền Long An after both sides could not agree on a contract extension. According to sources, the current contract will expire after December 31, and all settlement procedures will be completed according to regulations before the player decides on her next career move.

After returning from SEA Games 33, Nguyễn Khánh Đang met with the team management to discuss her personal direction as well as the collective's professional plans. The discussion took place in a spirit of mutual respect. The decision not to continue the partnership is seen as a professional choice, as both sides could not find common ground for the next phase. The club confirms it respects the player's decision and values her contributions so far.

Nguyễn Khánh Đang is a national team player, specializing as a libero. She was trained in the youth ranks of Long An women's volleyball since 2014 and gradually established her expertise at a high level.

Since 2023, she has been called up to the Vietnam women's volleyball national team and quickly became a regular starter. At SEA Games 33, Khánh Đang and her teammates won the silver medal, continuing the same achievement from SEA Games 32.

At the club level, Khánh Đang has had a stable playing period and earned many titles with VTV Bình Điền Long An. The year 2025 marked a significant milestone when she and her team won the national championship.

Additionally, she achieved runner-up at the 2025 AVC Champions League, won the 2025 AVC Nations Cup, was runner-up at the VTV Cup, won a stage of the 2025 SEA V.League, and participated in the 2025 World Championship representing the national team.
