In January 2024, Coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt signed a five-year contract as head coach of the VietinBank women's volleyball team. Meanwhile, the Hanoi women's volleyball team earned promotion to the 2026 National Championship after finishing the 2025 National A-League season. During the A-League, the Hanoi team was coached by Nguyễn Hữu Bình. Representatives from Hanoi volleyball stated that there have been no official announcements regarding coaching staff changes, and players continue training as planned.
In reality, Vietnamese volleyball has seen several cases where coaches switched teams while still under contract. However, all agreements must comply with the transfer regulations of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and labor law provisions.
