Bích Thủy and her teammates nearly pulled off a shocking victory against the second-ranked team in the Japanese Women's Volleyball League.

Okayama Seagulls, with middle blocker Bích Thủy, failed to cause an upset as they narrowly lost to Hisamitsu Springs, who are currently second in the Japanese Women's Volleyball League standings, during the first match of round 10.

Bích Thủy’s team was defeated 2-3 by Hisamitsu Springs.

In a challenging away match, Okayama Seagulls began with confidence and strong resolve. Facing an opponent rated higher in both class and squad depth, Bích Thủy’s team played fairly and consistently posed difficulties for Hisamitsu Springs. The first set showed clear dominance by the home team, who won 25-21.

Okayama Seagulls quickly responded strongly in the next two sets. The visitors played cohesively, defended resolutely, and made good use of their chances to win both sets 25-23, taking a 2-1 lead.
