Facing an opponent rated higher in both class and squad depth, Bích Thủy’s team played fairly and consistently posed difficulties for Hisamitsu Springs. The first set showed clear dominance by the home team, who won 25-21.
Okayama Seagulls quickly responded strongly in the next two sets. The visitors played cohesively, defended resolutely, and made good use of their chances to win both sets 25-23, taking a 2-1 lead.
