(Live volleyball) - Tran Thi Bich Thuy and her teammates will encounter a tough battle against Hisamitsu Springs in the 2025-2026 Japan National Volleyball League.
After spending time training with the national team for the SEA Games, Vietnamese volleyball fans will get to see Tran Thi Bich Thuy and Tran Thi Thanh Thuy compete again in Japan. Today, December 27, Bich Thuy and her Okayama Seagulls teammates will face Hisamitsu Springs – one of the strongest teams in the Japanese National League.
The two teams’ performances this season are completely opposite. Okayama is ranked 12th out of 14 with a record of 3 wins and 15 losses, while Hisamitsu Springs is a title contender, currently in 2nd place with 14 wins. In their last 10 encounters, the Seagulls have won only once.
This matchup will surely attract strong interest from Southeast Asian fans with a high-level duel between two of the region’s top middle blockers: Tran Thi Bich Thuy and Hattaya Bamrungsuk.
