It is quite a coincidence that 4 famous middle blockers have left the Vietnam women's volleyball team in just 3 years, and a major turning point is about to come for another middle blocker.

Recently, the main middle blocker of Military Sports Center Team 19, Pham Thi Hien, announced she will marry her boyfriend Tran Nghia on December 28, 2025.

Pham Thi Hien was born in 1999 and is 1.72 meters tall. She has played for the Vietnam women's volleyball team in several important competitions in 2023 and 2024.

The year 2023 marked the first time Pham Thi Hien was called up by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet to the Vietnam women's volleyball team. Despite having only 19 days to train and get used to her teammates, she played with great confidence and was considered one of Vietnam’s heroes in the match against South Korea during the group stage of the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship.
