With the new season now in its second week, the world rankings have changed. Let's review this week's PIF ATP "Ranking Stars," including Hurkacz’s 30-place jump and improvements from Medvedev, Rublev, and Brandon Nakashima.
Musetti ⬆️2 from No.7 to No.5
Although he narrowly missed out on a tour title again, Musetti secured a career-best ranking by reaching the final in Hong Kong, breaking into the world’s top five for the first time.

Bublik ⬆️1 from No.11 to No.10 (career high)
After winning four titles last season, Bublik claimed another championship in the first week of this season, pushing him to a new career milestone by entering the top ten for the first time.
Medvedev ⬆️1 from No.13 to No.12
While some players have just broken into the top ten, others who often occupied this range in the past are close to returning. Medvedev, fueled by his first-week victory, climbed one spot, and compared to his Grand Slam results last season, he still has considerable room to gain points.

Rublev ⬆️2 from No.16 to No.14
Following closely is Medvedev’s friend Rublev, who is also nearing the top ten. He has few points to defend at the Australian Open. After training with Safin for some time, it’s now time for him to deliver results.
Brandon Nakashima ⬆️4 from No.33 to No.29
Reaching a tour final again after four years, Brandon Nakashima rose four places, just barely entering the Grand Slam seeding threshold.
Baez ⬆️4 from No.43 to No.39
Also rising four spots is Baez, considered by Sinner as a potential seed upset at this year’s Australian Open. The Argentine is usually strong in South America’s early-season clay events, but how will he perform during the Australian swing?

Hurkacz ⬆️30 from No.83 to No.53
The biggest mover is Poland’s Hurkacz! Thanks to his powerful performance at the United Cup, he soared 30 spots. Defeating top players like Zverev, Fritz, and Wawrinka, the Pole showed excellent form and will be a dark horse at this year’s Australian Open.

Additionally, Brooks ⬆️20 from No.115 to No.95, also reaching a career high. The current top ten rankings are Akka, Sinner, Zverev, Djokovic, Musetti, Deminor, Aliassime, Shelton, Fritz, and Bublik.(Source: Tennis Home, Author: Luo Cheng Qiye)
