News | The 2026 Australian Open Qualifying Draw Released, Eight Players from Mainland China to Compete


On January 11th Beijing time, the 2026 Australian Open qualifying draw was revealed, with the competition beginning tomorrow. Eight players from Mainland China are taking part; Wu Yibing is the sole male singles competitor, and the female singles include Yuan Yue, Zhu Lin, Guo Hanyu, Wei Sijia, Gao Xinyu, Ma Yexin, and Bai Zhuoxuan. Wang Xiyu has pulled out of this year's qualifiers due to injury. Additionally, Hong Kong player Wong Chak Lam is also competing, facing French player Brownche in the first round. Wong reached the quarterfinals in the ATP Hong Kong tournament during the first week of the new season.



First-round matchups for the Mainland China team are as follows:

Wu Yibing vs. Kruger

Bai Zhuoxuan vs. Korneeva

Guo Hanyu vs. Salkova

Wei Sijia vs. Kalieva

Ma Yexin vs. Lepchenko

Yuan Yue vs. Chirico

Zhu Lin vs. Pigossi


Gao Xinyu vs. Tagger
