Will this choice enable Tsitsipas to recover his performance in the 2026 season?
Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas is entering a new chapter—not only in his career but also in his personal life. After concluding a relationship that attracted significant attention with Paula Badosa, Tsitsipas recently introduced his new girlfriend, Kirsten Thoms, through his latest YouTube video.
In a well-produced vlog, Tsitsipas documented a getaway to Namibia, where he and Thoms experienced the untouched nature and rare peaceful moments. This also marks a notable return for the two-time Grand Slam finalist to YouTube after a long absence since his travel vlogs in Greece and Marbella (Spain) 3-4 years ago.
"Namibia is not just a place you visit briefly. It leaves a lasting impression long after you leave.", Tsitsipas shared in the video description. He described the short film as "a quiet journey through vast lands," emphasizing the importance of slowing down, listening, and fully savoring every moment.
During the trip, Tsitsipas and his girlfriend ventured deep into the desert, exploring the surreal beauty of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, where sand dunes, sky, and silence blend as if time stands still. From above, a helicopter ride offered breathtaking views of the Skeleton Coast—where land meets ocean in a wild, untouched setting. On the ground, they also spent time meeting local communities, including children at a school, creating many heartfelt moments.
Previously, Tsitsipas dated Paula Badosa—the most stunning figure in tennis—for nearly two years, but that relationship ended a few months ago, just before the US Open, where both were expected to compete in mixed doubles but ultimately withdrew.
On the professional front, Tsitsipas recently played alongside Maria Sakkari at the United Cup, making an impression in both singles and doubles. His next challenge will be the Adelaide International, where the former world No. 3 awaits an opponent from the qualifiers.
