Media reports reveal the main reason for Alonso's dismissal: discord between coach and players, with Real Madrid's three billion-euro stars opposing the manager.

Following Real Madrid's defeat to Barcelona and the loss of the Supercopa title, the club immediately declared Alonso's termination. Although Real Madrid is indeed struggling against Barcelona at this stage, Alonso had coached the team for just half a season with a high winning percentage of 70%, but the leadership chose to dismiss him regardless.

According to an ESPN article, Alonso was fired after just 233 days in charge of Real Madrid. The primary cause was a rift between the coach and the players, involving three key high-value players who rebelled against Alonso's leadership.

Sources close to the coach told ESPN that Alonso left Real Madrid feeling disappointed, especially with some key players in the squad. These players failed to fully implement his tactics, which also frustrated Alonso himself. The three billion-euro stars resisting his tactical approach were captain Valverde, Vinícius, and Bellingham. Bellingham consistently rejected Alonso’s tactical instructions, although this conflict was less public than the one between Vinícius and Alonso. Vinícius is currently one of the few players who has not posted anything about Alonso’s departure on social media. According to sources close to the Brazilian international, he does not plan to share any posts regarding Alonso’s exit.

In my personal opinion, Real Madrid is the top club in the big five leagues, but Alonso found it difficult to manage the locker room at the Bernabéu.
