Hà Nội delivered an impressive 3-1 victory over Than KSVN in the U19 national championship.

The second round of the U19 national women's championship was held on the afternoon of January 10th.

Hà Nội showcased a strong performance by defeating Than Khoáng Sản Việt Nam (Than KSVN) 3-1 in the second round of the National U19 Women's Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2026.

The match between Hà Nội and Than KSVN was considered the highlight of the round, as both teams had balanced squads and dynamic attacking styles. The mining region's team started proactively and quickly made an impact. In the 17th minute, Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh Anh scored precisely to put Than KSVN ahead.

The goal intensified the match. In the 34th minute, U19 national team player Lê Thị Trang equalized for Hà Nội, bringing the score to 1-1 before halftime.

In the second half, Hà Nội controlled the game better and kept up the pressure. At the 61st minute, Lê Thị Trang completed her brace with a precise finish, putting the capital team ahead 2-1. In the final minutes, as Than KSVN pushed forward seeking an equalizer, Đào Khánh Vy seized the opportunity to score the decisive third goal for Hà Nội.

In the other match, Phong Phú Hà Nam and Ho Chi Minh City started cautiously, with no goals scored in the first half. In the second half, Ngọc Ánh opened the scoring for Ho Chi Minh City, but just three minutes later, substitute Bùi Thanh Huyền leveled the match at 1-1 for Phong Phú Hà Nam, ending the game in a draw.

The third round of the tournament will continue on January 14th, with Hà Nội facing Thái Nguyên T&T and Phong Phú Hà Nam competing against Than KSVN.

The U23 Vietnam team received a morale boost ahead of their decisive match.
