The young forward Jens Raven from Indonesia’s U23 team wrapped up 2025 with a confident and hopeful message, stating that Indonesian football will make a stronger comeback in 2026.
On his personal social media, the Bali United player wrote: “Next year, we will definitely come back even stronger!”This was the message he shared with Indonesian fans on the last day of 2025.
Jens Raven also reflected on the journey with the Indonesia U23 team, considering 2025 as a year of growth and valuable learning. “2025 was a year full of precious lessons. Together with the team, my teammates and I faced many challenges, which helped us improve,” Raven expressed.
Not only looking back, the 2003-born striker expressed great ambition for the new year. He confirmed that the entire team will strive harder to assert Indonesian football’s position in regional and continental competitions. “We will fight harder next year to show everyone the true level of Indonesia in major tournaments,” Raven emphasized.
On a personal level, Jens Raven said he is very grateful for what he achieved last year, especially becoming the top scorer of the Southeast Asia U23 Championship with 7 goals — a feat that helped raise his profile in the Indonesia U23 squad. “I’m very happy to have scored 7 goals and become the top scorer of the AFF U23. It’s the result of the whole team’s effort,” Raven added.
