Eight more Vietnamese players have received severe penalties from the VFF.

The Organizing Committee recently issued Announcement No. 7 concerning the discipline of players in the 2025/26 National U19 Football Championship.

Specifically, the Organizing Committee of the 2025/26 National U19 Championship has just announced disciplinary measures against 8 players from the U19 Hoài Đức team (5 players), U19 Luxury Hạ Long (2 players), and U19 Đào Hà Football Center (1 player) for underperforming during the 2025/26 National U19 Football Championship.

The players were fined 3,750,000 VND (Three million seven hundred fifty thousand dong) and suspended from playing, specifically:

For players Võ Xuân Thiện, Trần Nhật Lương, Thái Bá Bảo Hoàng, Nguyễn Đại Huệ, and goalkeeper Dương Thanh Phú of the U19 Hoài Đức team:

They are prohibited from playing from matchday VIII until the end of the 2025/26 National U19 Football Championship (including the final round if the U19 Hoài Đức team qualifies for it).

For players Đoàn Quốc Huy and goalkeeper Vũ Anh Tuấn of the U19 Luxury Hạ Long team:

They are banned from competing from matchday VIII through the conclusion of the 2025/26 National U19 Football Championship (including the final round if the U19 Luxury Hạ Long team advances).

For player Đào Minh Trí of the U19 Đào Hà Football Center team:

He is suspended from playing starting from matchday VIII until the end of the 2025/26 National U19 Football Championship (including the final round if the U19 Đào Hà Football Center team passes the qualifiers).

The disciplinary actions taken by the Vietnam Football Federation are necessary and appropriate steps, demonstrating the VFF’s determination to eliminate negative phenomena, protect fairness, integrity, and foster healthy development of football in the country, especially youth football. Strictly handling violations once again reinforces the message that the VFF firmly upholds.
