Aston Villa's coach leaves Arteta searching after the defeat

The footage showed Arsenal's manager Mikel Arteta celebrating with his coaching team and then trying to locate fellow coach Unai Emery, but he could not find him.

According to eyewitnesses at the stadium, after the match Arteta went looking for Unai Emery to shake hands but couldn’t find him. It seems Emery headed straight down the tunnel right after the final whistle, leaving the Basque compatriot unable to meet him. The initial reason is unclear, but it appears Emery could not bear the Aston Villa lost 1-4 to Arsenal in round 19 of the Premier League.

A 4-1 scoreline was something no Arsenal fan expected when hosting top-table rivals Aston Villa at Emirates. However, Arsenal ensured they would finish 2025 at the top of the league regardless of Manchester City's result against Sunderland in round 19. In this match, defender Gabriel shone and played a crucial role in Arsenal’s win over Villa.
