CLB CAHN faces the ‘phenomenon’ Tampines Rovers in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Two

The knockout draw for the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26, held at 14:00 today on December 30, brought a fairly favorable outcome for Vietnam’s sole representative, Hanoi Police Club (CAHN).

According to the rules of the first knockout round draw, a team from the top seed group will face a team from the second seed group in a two-legged direct elimination format.

Teams that met in the group stage will not face each other again in this Round of 16. This means CAHN will not have to play against Macarthur FC (Australia), Ratchaburi FC (Thailand) will not meet Gamba Osaka (Japan) again, Persib Bandung (Indonesia) will not face Bangkok United (Thailand), and Tampines Rovers FC (Singapore) will not rematch FC Pohang Steelers (South Korea).
