Maintaining their unbeaten streak in Group E of the 2025/26 U19 National Qualifiers, the squad under Coach Doãn Nhật Tiến temporarily leads the table following the first leg.

After a hard-fought 1-0 victory in their opening match of Group E, things became smoother for U19 Ho Chi Minh City Police as they defeated U19 Đồng Nai 3-0 in the second round. The "machine" of U19 Ho Chi Minh City Police, operated by Coach Doãn Nhật Tiến, became more efficient, with Minh Quân, Hữu Lợi, and Tuấn Anh scoring to secure a "three-star" win against U19 Đồng Nai.

Having secured two consecutive wins, U19 Ho Chi Minh City Police grew somewhat complacent when facing U19 Phước Bình Đồng Nai. In terms of current form, Phước Bình Đồng Nai had lost both opening matches, whereas U19 Ho Chi Minh City Police won all, scoring 4 goals without conceding any.

Thus, after the first leg of Group E, U19 Ho Chi Minh City Police temporarily top the table with 10 points, followed by U19 Đồng Tháp with 9 points. In third place is U19 Tây Ninh with 6 points, fourth is U19 Đồng Nai with 3 points, and fifth is U19 Phước Bình Đồng Nai with 1 point.
