The 2025 Women's National Futsal Championship officially begins featuring 4 clubs.
On the afternoon of December 29th, at the Futsal Club Gymnasium in Chanh Hung Ward (Ho Chi Minh City), the opening ceremony took place for the 2025 Women's National Futsal Championship.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu – Vice Chairman of VFF, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu – General Secretary of VFF, Mr. Pham Anh Dung – Member of the VFF Referees Committee, and Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh – Director of Ho Chi Minh City Sports Joint Stock Company.
On behalf of the VFF, General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the remarkable achievements of Vietnamese women's futsal recently, especially the national women's futsal team’s participation in the 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Championship last May and their outstanding Gold Medal victory at SEA Games 33, which confirmed the positive outcomes from domestic tournament organization, training, and development, including the Women's National Futsal Championship.
“On behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation and the Organizing Committee, I sincerely thank the close cooperation, active and responsible participation of the clubs, teams, as well as supervisors and referees... All will play an important role in the overall success of the tournament. The VFF and the Organizing Committee extend their gratitude to Ho Chi Minh City Sports Joint Stock Company – the hosting unit;
the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City; and the Cultural and Sports Service Provision Center of Chanh Hung Ward for their collaboration in ensuring the 2025 Women's National Futsal Championship is held as planned. We also deeply appreciate the support and companionship of fans and media agencies towards the tournament and the development of women's futsal in Vietnam,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Phu.
This year’s competition includes 4 teams: the host Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City, and Phong Phu Ha Nam. Matches will be held from December 29, 2025, to January 8, 2026. The four teams will compete in a double round-robin format, accumulating points to rank from first to fourth place to determine the final standings.
To serve the fans, the VFF will broadcast some matches live on the VFF Channel YouTube. The tournament promises exciting games and will contribute to promoting the development of women's futsal in Vietnam.
