Specifically, decision number 1249 fined Mr. Dinh Van Dung 7,500,000 VND (Seven million five hundred thousand dong) and suspended him from duties for the next 6 matches. Mr. Dinh Van Dung, head coach of the U19 Hong Linh Ha Tinh team, was penalized for intentionally making physical contact with a referee during the match between Song Lam Nghe An and Hong Linh Ha Tinh on December 27, 2025, at the 2025/26 National U19 Football Championship. Mr. Dinh Van Dung has the right to appeal to the Vietnam Football Federation's Appeal Committee according to regulations.
Decision number 1250 imposed a fine of 1,250,000 VND (One million two hundred fifty thousand dong) and suspended Mr. Nguyen Anh Cuong, assistant coach of the U19 Hong Linh Ha Tinh team, for 2 upcoming matches due to his protest against the referee during the match between Song Lam Nghe An and Hong Linh Ha Tinh on December 27, 2025, at the 2025/26 National U19 Football Championship.
Previously, the Disciplinary Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation also issued a series of strict penalties against U19 players involved in violations during the qualifying round of the 2025/26 National U19 Championship. Several U19 Beton 26 players were fined and suspended for underperforming, including cases where players were banned from participating for the remainder of the tournament.
These consecutive disciplinary decisions not only serve to address violations but also act as a necessary reminder of the importance of respecting rules in youth football. At an age when both skills and character are still developing, every mistake can become a valuable lesson, helping players and coaching staff reflect on their responsibilities and move towards a more professional, fair, and educational environment for Vietnamese football.
