South Korean Defender Officially Parts Ways with Vietnamese Club

SHB Đà Nẵng Football Club has ended its relationship with South Korean center-back Kim Dong Su midway through the 2025–2026 season, closing a short yet committed and hardworking chapter.

SHB Đà Nẵng Club has officially bid farewell to South Korean defender Kim Dong Su after half a season playing for the Han River team. The announcement was posted on the club’s official website along with a heartfelt message dedicated to the player born in 1995.

“A warrior in defense. Thank you, center-back Kim Dong Su, for always playing with responsibility and courage in the SHB Đà Nẵng jersey. We sincerely wish you all the best in your future journey.”

Joining SHB Đà Nẵng at the start of the 2025–2026 season, Kim Dong Su quickly became a key figure in the defensive line. With ideal physical attributes, strong situational awareness, and experience from playing in the V-League with HAGL, the South Korean defender significantly strengthened the team’s defense and aerial ability.

During his time at SHB Đà Nẵng, Kim Dong Su appeared in 11 V-League matches and 1 National Cup game, scoring 1 goal and leaving a strong impression on fans. His performances were considered a highlight of the early season, helping SHB Đà Nẵng maintain stability in both gameplay and fighting spirit.

However, due to personnel adjustments planned for the second half of the season, SHB Đà Nẵng’s management decided to part ways with the Korean defender to seek a foreign player better suited to the new tactical direction. Despite the short tenure, Kim Dong Su left the image of a professional player who always gave his all for the team.
