MU’s flop honored in Serie A, reaching a goal milestone far beyond last season

With his brace against Cremonese, Rasmus Hojlund (Napoli) won the Man of the Match award and surpassed his goal tally from last season at MU.

MU’s flop scores twice in Serie A, far exceeding last season’s goal count

Rasmus Hojlund scored two goals to inspire Napoli’s 2-0 win over Cremonese in Serie A’s 17th round. This display continued his impressive scoring streak since leaving MU and returning to Italy. The Danish striker’s brace raised his Serie A goal tally to six in just 12 appearances, two more than he scored in 32 Premier League matches for MU last season.

Hojlund’s two goals secured all three points for Napoli and earned him the Man of the Match award in Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Cremonese. This was Hojlund’s third brace for Napoli, following similar performances against Sporting Lisbon (October 1) and Juventus (December 7).
