The noble gesture of the 2025 Vietnamese Women's Ballon d'Or winner

After winning the award, Vietnam Women's Ballon d'Or winner Nguyễn Thị Bích Thuỳ donated 15 million VND to the "Warm Clothes to School" program, aiming to support students facing difficult circumstances.

Immediately following the Vietnam Ballon d'Or award ceremony on the evening of December 26, Female Ballon d'Or winner Nguyễn Thị Bích Thùy took a deeply meaningful action for the community. Specifically, she contributed 15 million VND to the “Warm Clothes to School” initiative, helping provide warm clothing to students in hardship, especially those in highland areas during the cold winter.

This is regarded as a practical act demonstrating social responsibility and the spirit of sharing from a professional athlete, particularly at a time when many children still lack basic living conditions.

On her personal page, Bích Thùy expressed heartfelt emotions after receiving the Vietnam Women's Ballon d'Or title. She conveyed gratitude and viewed it as motivation to keep striving on her future path. She wrote:

“I am truly grateful and cherish this moment. The Vietnam Women's Ballon d'Or is a great honor, but for me, it is also a reminder to keep working harder every day.

Thanks to my family, coaching staff, teammates, and everyone who has quietly supported me throughout this journey. Without them, I wouldn’t have reached today. I am still a player learning every day, and I will always give my best with seriousness, discipline, and passion for football.

I hope my story can inspire young people pursuing their dreams. Grateful and moving forward.”

Besides Bích Thuỳ, Male Silver Ball winner Đình Bắc and Female Bronze Ball winner Trần Thị Thuỳ Trang had previously donated their entire prize money to share with disadvantaged people and children across the country.
