The U23 Vietnam team is speeding up preparations for the 2026 AFC U23 Championship finals with intensified training sessions in Qatar.

According to information from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), on the afternoon of December 27 local time, the U23 Vietnam team started their first training session of the camp in Doha (Qatar), officially kicking off the crucial preparation phase ahead of the 2026 AFC U23 Championship finals.

During the nearly two-hour training session, head coach Kim Sang Sik and his assistants deliberately raised the exercise intensity to the maximum to help players quickly overcome lethargy and accelerate adaptation to Qatar’s weather and time zone. The players made great efforts to complete the full training plan and satisfactorily meet the coaching staff’s requirements.
