Stay updated with the latest schedule for the third-place match between Vietnam U19 futsal and Malaysia.
The Vietnam U19 futsal team was defeated by Indonesia U19 futsal 3-7 in the semifinal held on the afternoon of December 27 in Thailand, and will now compete in the third-place match of the tournament.
As a result, the Vietnam U19 futsal team will play in the third-place match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Futsal Championship on December 29. Their opponent will be the loser of the second semifinal between Thailand and Malaysia.
This is the first time the Southeast Asian Football Federation has organized futsal tournaments at the U16 and U19 levels, marking a significant development for youth futsal in the region. This event opens up great opportunities for young players, especially since Southeast Asia currently lacks an official competition dedicated to youth futsal.
Previously, the only youth-level tournament was the AFC U20 Futsal Championship organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), which has been suspended since 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and has not yet resumed.
