Thùy Trang officially speaks out after the 2025 Ballon d'Or, doing something deeply touching

After the 2025 Vietnam Ballon d'Or Gala, midfielder Thùy Trang spoke up and touched hearts by dedicating all her Bronze Ball award money to charitable causes.

Midfielder Thùy Trang made an official statement after the 2025 Vietnam Ballon d'Or ceremony, attracting attention with a meaningful gesture by deciding to donate her entire prize money to charity. After the night of honors, the female midfielder born in 1988 chose to close the season by sharing and spreading positive values to the community.

Specifically, Trần Thị Thùy Trang donated the full 20 million VND prize from the 2025 Vietnam Women's Bronze Ball to charity work. On the morning of December 27th, she transferred this amount to the Vietnam Fatherland Front, hoping to help those in difficult circumstances and promote a spirit of compassion in society.

In a post on her personal Facebook, Thùy Trang wrote: "I would like to sincerely and deeply thank the organizing committee, the leadership board, the coaching staff, my teammates, family, and everyone who has always followed, loved, and trusted me throughout this time. Every vote and every word of encouragement is a cherished recognition.". The midfielder showed her appreciation for all the support throughout her career.

Looking back on the journey, Thùy Trang added: "The memorable year 2025 has come to an end for me. I am honored to have achieved new milestones for Ho Chi Minh City Club and the Vietnam women's futsal team. I realize there is still much to learn, and I take challenges as motivation to strive and improve myself further in the future.". This can be seen as a summary of a busy yet fruitful year of competition.

Especially, the midfielder emphasized her decision to donate all her prize money: "On this occasion, I would like to donate all the prize money I received after winning the 2025 Bronze Ball to the Vietnam Fatherland Front, along with a small contribution to the Warm Clothes Charity program, as a modest gesture of sharing and spreading good values to those still facing hardships. I believe that the love and support from everyone is the greatest reward on this journey. With respect."

Thùy Trang’s action is even more meaningful considering 2025 has been one of the most successful periods in her career, with a gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games women’s futsal, national championship victory, titles as the best player in the national league, top scorer of the National Cup, and reaching the quarter-finals of the AFC Women’s Champions League with Ho Chi Minh City women's club.
