The U23 Vietnam team has arrived in Doha, Qatar, officially entering the crucial final preparation phase for the 2026 AFC U23 Championship finals.

According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), after nearly eight hours of flight departing from Hanoi, at 1:00 PM local time (5:00 PM Vietnam time), U23 Vietnam landed in Doha and began an important training camp as part of their tournament preparations.

Before departure, the U23 Vietnam team suffered its first personnel loss when player Đặng Tuấn Phong experienced a recurrence of injury during training and had to temporarily rest for recovery treatment.
