Methods and criteria for voting the 2025 Vietnam Golden Ball Award

According to the regulations announced by the Organizing Committee, the voting process began in early November 2025. Ballots were sent to delegates including sports leaders, coaches, and club captains, sports experts and journalists. Each delegate has the right to select players from the nominee list or add names of other candidates if they believe they deserve it more.

By December 21, 2025, the Organizing Committee collected all ballots, verified their validity, and began counting votes to determine the final results. The scoring system applied to the categories of men's, women's, and futsal Golden Ball: players receiving the Golden Ball vote get 3 points, Silver Ball 2 points, and Bronze Ball 1 point. The highest total points decide the winner in each category.
