This overwhelming victory not only earned them full points but also gave Vietnam U19 futsal a significant advantage in goal difference after the opening match.

With Thailand only winning 9-0 while Vietnam U19 futsal secured an 18-0 victory, doubling the goal difference just avoiding defeat against Thailand in the final match would see us advance as group leaders. This could be a major advantage since the Group A winner will only face the Group B runner-up in the semifinals.
