FAM has officially reported to the police regarding the forgery of documents for naturalization.

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has submitted a police report concerning allegations of forged documents in the records of seven naturalized players representing the national team.

In an official announcement today, December 24, FAM stated that the report was sent to the Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters, following the recommendation of the Independent Investigation Committee (IIC), chaired by former Malaysian Chief Justice Tun Md Raus Sharif, after completing their investigation.

"FAM pledges full cooperation with the police and respects the legal procedures currently underway," the Malaysian football authority confirmed.

"This step reflects FAM’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and governance reforms to safeguard the interests of national football."
