Surprising list of Vietnamese referees qualified for FIFA 2026

According to the latest announcement from FIFA, 22 Vietnamese referees and assistant referees have been certified to meet the FIFA referee standards for 2026.

Specifically, following meetings and discussions with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to review, evaluate, and agree on the list of referees who fully satisfy the professional criteria, FIFA has officially released the list of international referees for 2026. Among them, Vietnamese football has 22 referees and assistant referees included.

This list consists of: 5 male referees, 7 male assistant referees, 3 female referees, 3 female assistant referees, and 4 male and female futsal referees.
