Harry Kane concluded 2025 on a high note by marking 100 goal involvements in the Bundesliga, earning the title “German Football Personality of the Year,” and aiding Bayern Munich to stay at the summit of the league.
This Christmas season was more special than ever for Harry Kane, as the English striker continued to etch his name into German football history. In Bayern Munich’s recent 4-0 victory over Heidenheim, Kane not only scored but also captained the “Red Giants” for the first time. Notably, this marked his 100th contribution in the Bundesliga (81 goals, 19 assists) in just 78 appearances.
Earlier, the 32-year-old striker was awarded by Kicker magazine “German Football Personality of the Year”, a well-deserved honor for his brilliant 2025 season with Bayern.
Joining the Bavarian club in summer 2023 after nearly two decades at Tottenham, Kane brought with him the greatest ambition of his career to win titles. Although his first season ended trophyless as Bayer Leverkusen claimed both domestic trophies, the English forward made a spectacular breakthrough in his second season, helping Bayern reclaim the Bundesliga crown and ending his long-standing personal trophy drought.
Speaking on the Cleats Club channel, Kane said: “The most memorable moment of 2025 was definitely winning the Bundesliga with Bayern. It’s the first trophy of my career, an unforgettable feeling for me and my family.”
Looking ahead to 2026, the England captain has set even bigger goals: “I want to keep improving myself and hope to win more titles with the national team, including the World Cup.”
Currently, Kane has scored 30 goals and provided 3 assists across all competitions this season. He also aims to break the record of 41 goals per season set by Robert Lewandowski in 2021. “I know it’s a tough record, but I always enjoy pushing boundaries,” Kane told Sky Sport Germany.
Bayern Munich will take a winter break before returning on January 11 to host Wolfsburg. Under coach Vincent Kompany, the Bavarian team still leads the Bundesliga by 9 points over their closest rival, and Harry Kane, with his outstanding form, continues to symbolize resilience and the hunger for victory.
