Manchester United will decide the future of their new star in the match against Villa! If Casemiro remains suspended and is not in the starting lineup again, he will definitely demand a transfer.

In the Premier League game between Manchester United and Bournemouth, Jordan Mainoo-Hams, the brother of 20-year-old English midfielder KobbIe Mainoo, attracted notice. Wearing a black T-shirt that read "FREE KOBBIE MAINOO" on the sidelines, he applied pressure on coach Rúben Amorim. This stirred dark memories among Red Devils fans, recalling similar actions by the brothers of Luke Shaw, Rashford, and Garnacho in the past.

Jordan is KobbIe’s half-brother, born from their father’s affair with a white woman, and his name Jordan complements KobbIe’s amusingly. Jordan gained fame after appearing on the reality show "Love Island," so it seems like a move to grab attention.

However, according to the British Telegraph, Mainoo is genuinely frustrated with his current situation at Old Trafford, and this no longer needs statistics to prove. The Red Devils' rising star feels neglected by the coach, as Amorim has yet to start him even once in the Premier League this season.

Mainoo hopes to leave on loan next month to secure more playing time. Among the many clubs eager to sign him, Napoli leads the race, with Antonio Conte promising him a starting role. Former teammates like McTominay and Højlund have also shown Mainoo the happier life after leaving Manchester United.

Nevertheless, many within the club remain deeply concerned about Mainoo’s predicament and what his possible departure might mean. It is reported that Manchester United plans to reject any permanent transfer offers for Mainoo in January, as the club’s leadership still believes the midfielder has a bright future at Old Trafford.

The general consensus inside Manchester United is that Mainoo is young with enormous potential and a high ceiling. Even though his current form is poor, he still has a chance to convince Amorim or a future manager to give him consistent playing time again. The upcoming away match against Aston Villa next weekend could be a key opportunity, especially since the 33-year-old veteran Casemiro will be unavailable once more.

Casemiro received a yellow card for fouling Bournemouth forward Tavernier, accumulating five yellow cards and triggering an automatic one-match suspension, ruling him out against Villa. To make matters worse, Bournemouth capitalized on the ensuing free kick to score directly, changing the score to 3-2 and rendering Casemiro’s yellow card meaningless.

Villa, the next opponent, is on a fierce nine-game winning streak, while Amorim faces a depleted Manchester United squad. However, this could be Mainoo’s chance. With Casemiro suspended, Mbemou, Amad Diallo, and Mazraoui away for the Africa Cup of Nations, and De Ligt and Maguire possibly not recovered in time, the Red Devils are short on players.

According to English media rumors, Amorim might consider temporarily switching to a 4-3-3 formation, which would help Mainoo start. After all, playing a 3-4-3 might make the midfield pairing of Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes defensively too fragile. Switching to 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 would better suit Mainoo’s style.

Amorim needs to choose between Mainoo and Ugarte. Although Mainoo came on as a substitute against Bournemouth, if Amorim wants to strengthen the defense when facing the in-form Villa, starting Ugarte is also possible. If that happens, Mainoo might firmly decide to push for a transfer in January because with many key midfield and forward players absent and still no starting chance for himself, it’s hard to see a hopeful future.

Interestingly, the slogan FREE KOBBIE MAINOO has two meanings: one is to have him as a regular starter at Manchester United, and the other is to let him transfer. Rumors say over ten clubs are interested in him.
