VFF awards a 500 million VND bonus to the Vietnam U22 team

Vietnam U22 exploded in the second half to beat the Philippines U22 2-0 and earn a spot in the men's football final at SEA Games 33.

After the match, Mr. Trần Anh Tú – Vice Chairman of VFF and head of the Vietnam U22 delegation at SEA Games 33 – conveyed congratulations from VFF President Trần Quốc Tuấn to the entire team, praising their achievement in reaching the men's football final of SEA Games 33. The VFF Executive Committee then rewarded the team with 500 million VND.

In the first 45 minutes, Vietnam U22 worked hard to organize attacks and put pressure on the Philippines U22’s half. Attacks from both flanks continued to be Coach Kim Sang Sik’s favored strategy.

However, the Philippines U22 also had very skilled wingers like Monis Alex and Dymnyck Dylan, creating intense battles that made Vietnam U22’s wing plays extremely difficult.
