Salah will not leave this season; after a conversation with Klopp, the situation has improved and he will return to the match squad.

Salah was last season’s Premier League top scorer and assist leader, excelling in both passing and shooting, recognized as a top-tier player and an important contributor to Liverpool. Following his public criticism of the club, rumors circulated about a possible winter move to the Saudi Pro League. According to the latest reports from The Athletic, The Telegraph, and The Times, after a face-to-face meeting with Klopp, tensions have eased, and Salah is set to be included in Liverpool’s squad for this weekend’s Premier League match against Brighton.

According to The Athletic, Salah will temporarily leave the team after Saturday’s Premier League match to return to Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations. Liverpool views this brief separation as a period of adjustment for both parties. Klopp considers Salah a club legend who has acknowledged his mistake, and reinstating him to the squad is a decision in the team’s best interest.

In my opinion, Salah needs to accept a role involving rotation or even coming off the bench, as no superstar can escape the effects of time, nor stand above the team indefinitely. After this season, Salah will enter the final year of his contract next summer, allowing Liverpool to secure a modest transfer fee while he moves on to seek new opportunities in Saudi Arabia. This approach is more dignified and ensures a smoother parting. Salah remains a Liverpool legend, having helped win the Champions League and the club’s first and second Premier League titles, deserving respect for future encounters. Once retired, he could return to Anfield as a Liverpool icon to watch games. Momentary frustration aside, everything is motivated by his desire to play and do what’s best for the club; it’s best to move on with understanding.

Wishing Liverpool and Salah all the best.
