The U22 Vietnam team directly observed U22 Malaysia’s 4-1 victory over U22 Laos, which has given them confidence to secure a favorable result when facing this opponent on December 11.
After watching the match, center-back Nhật Minh said: "Yesterday afternoon (December 6), we went to the stadium to watch U22 Malaysia’s opening game. They won 4-1, played well, and were very strong. Therefore, the whole team will focus more during training to prepare for the upcoming match."
According to Nhật Minh, coach Kim Sang-sik has not yet provided a detailed evaluation immediately after watching the game but is expected to analyze it thoroughly in upcoming technical meetings to help the team improve.
