BreathGuy, a recognized LPL top laner, is widely thought by fans to be more famous than skilled. Although he has competed for prestigious teams over the past few years, he has never demonstrated his abilities convincingly in games. Particularly during last year's stint with WBG, he repeatedly opted for flanking tactics in nearly every team fight, causing WBG to be frequently reversed by the enemy. Due to his poor performance last season, WBG decided to release BreathGuy for the new season.

Recently, during a livestream, BreathGuy openly shared his feelings about being released by WBG and analyzed the reasons behind the team's poor results last year. He admitted that his own performance was indeed lacking, making his dismissal reasonable. However, BreathGuy also defended his flanking strategy by blaming WBG’s AD player, LightEmperor, whose form had declined. He claimed that in training matches, WBG could only win when he flanked.

BreathGuy expressed that the player he felt most sorry for last year was jungler XiaoTian. WBG often gained early advantages thanks to XiaoTian, but both BreathGuy and LightEmperor underperformed, leading to losses in team fights. Many viewers also asked if BreathGuy plans to continue competing. He stated that although he’s not the strongest top laner in LPL, his skill ranks among the top three, so he would definitely return to professional play if given the chance.

During the livestream, BreathGuy shared many anecdotes from the transfer period. For example, after leaving WBG, he wanted to join IG together with his friend ELK to form a “brotherhood alliance,” and they even met at IG. However, midway through the transfer, ELK suddenly told him he no longer wanted to join IG and preferred to play AD for WBG instead. After ELK chose WBG, BreathGuy felt like a clown because he had just been released by WBG and obviously couldn’t return to play top lane there.

Besides transfer stories, BreathGuy also talked about his time as a gaming companion. As a well-known LPL top laner, he initially set his price at 1000 yuan per hour, but no clients hired him at first. Fortunately, industry insiders promoted his companion service, so he eventually got some clients. (However, BreathGuy later revealed that his popularity as a companion only lasted a few days before interest dropped off.)

After learning about the transfer story between BreathGuy and ELK, many viewers joked that IG got lucky. Those who watched this year’s Demacia Cup would notice that AD player ELK performed poorly in both laning and team fights. In contrast, IG showed strong potential and resilience, reaching the Demacia Cup finals even without mid laner ROOKIE participating. (Personally, I feel that if IG really signed top laner BreathGuy and AD ELK, they might not even make it past the playoffs.)
