Faker's career stats revealed, with Azir as his top champion boasting a 71% win rate and an incredibly deep champion pool.

Greetings to all LPL fans and League of Legends summoners, welcome to Tianxia Game Report.

Faker is about to embark on his China tour, and in the off-season following his championship, his agenda has been nearly packed with business activities, without officially entering next year's training phase yet.

During this time, a data site refreshed Faker's lifetime champion statistics, which has drawn considerable attention.

Faker's career stats show Azir as his signature champion.

The Fandom wiki database updated Faker’s career champion data, excluding All-Star games and Red Bull exhibitions from 2015 to 2017, but adding many official matches previously unrecorded, including ancient OGN playoff qualifiers, AMD invitationals, and WCG Korea qualifiers, among others.

Many fans have guessed Faker's top-ranked champion. Due to Azir's consistent strength in recent years, Faker’s matches using Azir have surged, reaching 199 games by the end of this year, just one shy of 200.

Remarkably, his win rate on Azir is as high as 70.85%. Typically, champions played more often tend to see a drop in win rate, but Faker’s Azir stats remain impressively high, surpassing most pro players.

To compare, Faker’s average win rate across all his champions is 67.06%, making Azir nearly 4 percentage points higher.

Following Azir, Faker’s next four signature champions are Orianna, Ryze, Corki, and LeBlanc. Orianna, a perennial staple in League of Legends, also holds a win rate of 70.69%.

Galio ranks sixth, but his win rate is not particularly high.

Faker’s win rates with Ryze, Corki, and LeBlanc all fall below 70%, influenced heavily by the meta. These champions left strong impressions, especially Ryze and the older LeBlanc. The much-anticipated Galio, expected to receive a championship skin, is ranked sixth with 74 games played but a win rate lower than expected.

However, Galio provided Faker with significant support in crucial world championship matches, securing a high place in fans’ hearts and marking it as one of Faker’s career signature champions.

Next are champions like Viktor, Taliyah, LeBlanc, and Lissandra, representing different signature picks from various stages of Faker’s career.

We can briefly review Faker’s signature champions across different periods: early career highlights include LeBlanc, LeBlanc, and Zed, which made the strongest impact. Orianna also had many memorable moments. The strongest picks in Season 5 were Ryze, Season 6 was Orianna, later followed by Galio and Azir.

Let’s take a moment to note Faker’s impressive stats on Zed. Due to Zed’s unique nature, Faker played him only 11 times but won 10 of those matches, achieving a win rate exceeding 90%.

Statistically, no one comes close to matching Faker.

Among all 90 champions Faker has played, very few have a win rate below 50% with a decent number of appearances. Only Karma stands out with a relatively high play count but a low win rate of 42.31%, while other champions have mostly appeared fewer than 10 times.

Champions like Vladimir and Xerath also have lower win rates and are mostly played when their mechanics are insufficient, relying mainly on stats. If these champions become strong again in future metas and see more playtime, Faker is likely to quickly raise their win rates back to normal levels.

Across the entire professional League of Legends scene, almost no player matches Faker’s data. If one had to choose, it might be Chovy, whose recent league stats are extremely impressive. Although his World Championship performances have been lacking, this does not heavily affect the stats since these only count wins and losses, not match importance.

Even so, Chovy’s stats do not surpass Faker’s, as Faker and T1 have consistently been among the core contenders with championship potential throughout most of their careers. Chovy’s data before joining GEN was not as remarkable.
