Internal conflicts within BLG became public as Bin argued with the coach and was asked by management to apologize, but he left in frustration afterward.

Hello to all LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is Tianxia Game Report.

In yesterday’s De Cup match, BLG suffered an unexpected defeat against OMG. The first game was fairly back-and-forth, but in the second game, they were utterly crushed, delivering a surprisingly poor performance.

Following that, UP’s former coach disclosed that BLG had experienced some internal conflicts before.

Bin had a quarrel with the coach and left in a fit of anger.

Former UP coach Benny revealed that during a post-match review, Bin and coach Kakao had a serious disagreement. Kakao pointed out issues with Bin’s play, but Bin ignored him, thinking Kakao’s comments were nonsense.

What was supposed to be a normal review session turned sour when it was Bin’s turn; he completely ignored the coach and said, “What is this person even talking about?”

After the conflict, Kakao was reluctant to confront Bin, but management felt Bin was at fault and demanded he apologize to Kakao. Bin, however, left in anger, skipping scrims, and the second team had to step in. Eventually, Bin’s parents intervened and got him to apologize to Kakao.

In summary, Bin completely rejected the coach’s authority and opposed him, which management couldn’t tolerate, leading them to require an apology from Bin. From this perspective, Bin definitely appeared to be the problematic party.

Over the years, people have come to understand Bin’s personality quite well. He often behaves immaturely and has even been labeled a “big baby” by fans, with very inconsistent performances on stage.

Overconfident personality and fragile mentality.

From the start of his career, Bin has been a very arrogant player. During his time with SN, he had conflicts with his bot lane teammates and played selfishly, focusing only on his own comfort. Back then, Chawy also built the team around Bin as the core.

Later, when he joined RNG, Bin did put in effort for a while, but his overall performance was not very impressive despite winning the MSI championship. After joining BLG, Bin actually reached a peak in his career, with good form even last year before LeftHand arrived.

However, this year, Bin’s old problems have clearly resurfaced. His arrogance is once again evident, and his mentality is very unstable. He tends to make risky plays, causing many absurd individual mistakes. The worst part is he fails to recognize his errors and repeats the same mistakes.

Additionally, Bin often makes bold statements in interviews but repeatedly gets proven wrong, which has led to a decline in his popularity in the LPL. During this offseason, he was even teased by fans for undergoing double eyelid surgery.

Too many players like Bin in the LPL have caused the league’s level to drop.

In my opinion, there are too many players like Bin in the LPL region, which is one reason why the league has declined over the years. Many players are overly self-confident, become complacent after some success, and stop striving for improvement. As a result, they are easily defeated in important matches or world championships.

In the early days of the LPL, there were arrogant players too, but most of them realized their shortcomings after competing internationally and worked hard to improve. Nowadays, many players are unwilling to put in the effort and feel tired after a few years, losing motivation to continue.

Another factor is the difference between regions. In the LPL, coaches lack authority, whereas in the LCK, coaches hold absolute power within their teams. No matter how talented a player is, they must obey. In contrast, LPL coaches either lack the ability to control players or fail to exert their influence, resulting in players openly defying them.

This transfer season, BLG brought in coach Daeny, who will largely determine how far the team can go. It remains to be seen if he can help Bin overcome his issues. If successful, BLG still has a strong chance.
