The Lakers officially announce the signing of four players! All are non-guaranteed contracts for training camp, with the current roster at 14+2 and still open spots.

On July 27, Beijing time, the Los Angeles Lakers officially announced that the team has signed guard RJ Davis, forward Eric Dixon, forward Arthur Kaluma, and guard Augustus Marculionis. According to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, all four players have received Exhibit 10 contracts. The Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed contract for training camp, but if a player is waived and can play for the team's G League affiliate for at least 60 days, they qualify for a bonus of up to $85,300.

RJ Davis stands at 6 feet tall and joined the Lakers after spending five college seasons (2020-2025) at the University of North Carolina. In his final season with the Tar Heels, he played all 37 games as a starter, averaging 17.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.0 steals in 34.2 minutes per game, earning a spot on the ACC All-Conference Second Team. After his junior season, he was named the 2024 ACC Player of the Year and won the 2024 Jerry West Award (given annually to the nation's top collegiate shooting guard). Over his 175 career games at North Carolina (155 as a starter), Davis averaged 15.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.0 steals in 32.4 minutes per game. Recently, Davis represented the Lakers in the 2025 Summer League, participating in the California Classic and Las Vegas Summer League. In the final game against the Denver Nuggets in Las Vegas, this 23-year-old player scored 17 points, with 1 rebound, 3 assists, and 1 steal in 25 minutes, shooting 6 of 11 from the field (3 of 5 from three-point range and 2 of 2 from the free-throw line).

Dixon, at 6 feet 8 inches tall, joined the Lakers after spending five college seasons (2020-2025) at Villanova University. He previously signed a two-way contract with the Lakers but was later waived. In the 2024-2025 season, he led the NCAA with an average of 23.3 points, shooting 45.1% from the field and 40.7% from three-point range, while also contributing 5.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 34.8 minutes per game, earning a spot on the Big East All-Conference First Team. Over his record-setting 162 career games with the Wildcats (141 as a starter), he averaged 14.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 27.5 minutes per game. Dixon was named to the Big East All-Conference Second Team in both his sophomore and junior seasons, and upon leaving Villanova, he became the school's all-time leading scorer.

Kaluma, standing at 6 feet 7 inches tall, began his professional career after four college seasons, having played for the University of Texas (2024-2025), Kansas State University (2023-2024), and Creighton University (2021-2023). In his one season at Texas, Kaluma played 33 games (32 as a starter), averaging 12.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 29.3 minutes per game. Over his 134 career college games (131 as a starter), he averaged 12.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 30.0 minutes per game. This 23-year-old player recently represented the Lakers in the 2025 Summer League, playing in the California Classic and Las Vegas Summer League. In four games in San Francisco and Las Vegas, Kaluma averaged 4.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game.

Marculionis, who stands 6 feet 4 inches tall, began his professional career after spending four college seasons (2021-2025) at Saint Mary's College (California). In his final season with the Gaels, he started all 35 games, averaging 14.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.3 steals in 34.8 minutes per game. He was named the 2025 West Coast Conference (WCC) Player of the Year for his third-best assist performance in the league and earned a spot on the WCC All-Conference First Team. Over his 138 career college games (91 as a starter), this 23-year-old player averaged 8.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.0 steals in 24.7 minutes per game.
