The 2.03m striker is widely regarded as an all-round defender with eye-catching potential. In his only season in the NCAA, Bryant averaged 6.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, one assist and one block per game in 37 games, shooting 46 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from three-point range. O'Connor wrote, "Selecting Bryant is in line with the Rockets' building style," and highlighted the forward's range, athleticism, and potential as a set-up shooter and smart off-ball cutter. Although Bryant is still immature in his ability to handle the ball, his attributes on both ends of the floor suggest that he could contribute as a role player in the short term and develop into a more significant player in the future.

However, given the team's already crowded rotation, especially on the wing and frontcourt positions, Houston may find it more advantageous to use the No. 10 pick as a trade asset. O'Connor mentioned a trade like the Spurs' 2024 trade with the Timberwolves, when the Spurs traded down and acquired a batch of future draft picks.
