On January 15th, Beijing time, the Trail Blazers officially sent Yang Hansen down to the G League, where he will play today for the Rip City Remix against the Oklahoma City Blue. At present, the Remix stand 10th in the G League West with a 4-5 record, and the Blue are 14th with a 2-7 record.

Yang Hansen’s current G League averages this season are 16.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. Although he has gradually earned playing time in the NBA, the team decided to send him to the G League for more development opportunities. Unlike his time with the Trail Blazers, Hansen’s offensive chances have significantly increased in the G League, which also helps improve his adaptability on both ends of the court.
