On January 13th Beijing time, the Lakers fell 112-124 away to the Kings, with the Western Conference’s 5th seed unexpectedly losing to the 14th seed, suffering their third straight loss. Doncic scored 42 points but it was in vain, LeBron had 22 points, and the Kings led by 7 at halftime before increasing the margin in the second half. In the end, the Kings defeated the Lakers at home, avenging their two earlier defeats this season. DeRozan scored 32 points.
