According to the American media outlet Yahoo Sports,the Lakers are negotiating a trade with the Suns, planning to send out Rui Hachimura, Kendrick Nunn, and a first-round pick in exchange for Dillon.

It’s hard to imagine Dillon and LeBron on the same team; they are famously playful rivals who always spark fireworks when they meet, to the point that many fans ship them as a duo.

Dillon was born on January 22, 1996, stands 2.01 meters tall with a 1.98-meter wingspan, was the 15th pick in the second round of the 2017 draft, and was traded from the Rockets to the Suns last offseason. This guy originally built his reputation on defense, often guarding the opponent’s primary scorer, and now averaging over 20 points per game, he’s considered one of the league’s best two-way wings. No wonder the Lakers need to give up three players to possibly land him.

The Lakers have long desired a versatile wing player who excels on both ends, mainly to fix their poor defense. Currently, their defensive efficiency ranks 24th in the league at 117.6. Before targeting Dillon, their main trade interests included Wiggins from the Heat and Jones from the Pelicans.
