Explosive! Lakers propose a 3-for-1 trade deal! Dillon expected to team up with LeBron

Tom, do you seriously consider yourself the league's top player?

Booker was dominant, sinking a decisive three-pointer to beat the Thunder and give them their sixth defeat this season.

In this game, three Suns players scored over 20 points, with the team hitting 17 of 43 three-pointers, shooting around 40%. The stats are as follows:

The Thunder made 10 out of 32 three-pointers, shooting roughly 31%, and shooting has always been their biggest weakness. The stats are as follows:

So far, the Suns hold a 21-14 record, ranking seventh in the West, trailing the sixth-place Timberwolves by 1.5 games, while the Lakers have improved to third place with a 22-11 record.

The Lakers are mentioned because they seem ready to make a major move, reportedly targeting Suns’ Dillon for acquisition...

According to the American media outlet Yahoo Sports, the Lakers are negotiating a trade with the Suns, planning to send out Rui Hachimura, Kendrick Nunn, and a first-round pick in exchange for Dillon.

It’s hard to imagine Dillon and LeBron on the same team; they are famously playful rivals who always spark fireworks when they meet, to the point that many fans ship them as a duo.

Dillon was born on January 22, 1996, stands 2.01 meters tall with a 1.98-meter wingspan, was the 15th pick in the second round of the 2017 draft, and was traded from the Rockets to the Suns last offseason. This season, he’s delivering his best career performance, starting all 29 games so far, averaging 30.9 minutes per game, contributing 21.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 steals, while shooting 34.3% from beyond the arc with 2.4 made threes per game.

This guy originally built his reputation on defense, often guarding the opponent’s primary scorer, and now averaging over 20 points per game, he’s considered one of the league’s best two-way wings. No wonder the Lakers need to give up three players to possibly land him.

The Lakers have long desired a versatile wing player who excels on both ends, mainly to fix their poor defense. Currently, their defensive efficiency ranks 24th in the league at 117.6. Before targeting Dillon, their main trade interests included Wiggins from the Heat and Jones from the Pelicans.

That said, considering the Suns’ hope to make the playoffs this season, it’s unlikely they’ll easily part with their second-leading star Dillon unless they receive an irresistible offer. The Lakers aren’t the only team interested, so patience is key to waiting for the highest bidder.
