On January 1st Beijing time, TMZ reported that Stephen Curry, who has accumulated numerous honors in his basketball career, has achieved something especially remarkable — this NBA superstar now has a highway exit bearing his name!

This Davidson College graduate (who was named assistant general manager of the school’s basketball team in March this year) recently revisited his alma mater to watch their matchup against Duke University.
At this Atlantic 10 Conference highlight game, 37-year-old Curry personally unveiled the new sign. Although it’s hard to rank this honor among his many achievements, he clearly expressed how cool he thinks it is.
“A diploma is one thing,” Curry said, “a top achievement is another, but this (the sign) is something different. I really want to steal it and take it home.”

Curry wasn’t alone at the celebration; his wife Ayesha sat courtside watching with him. Some of his NBA teammates also came specifically to support the four-time champion, including Green, Butler, and Moody.

Unfortunately, Davidson College couldn’t secure a win for their all-time leading scorer, losing 83-89 to Duke University.
However, Curry ended 2025 (local time) on a high note with a victory as the Warriors defeated the Hornets 132-125 on the road, contributing 26 points, 4 assists, and 5 three-pointers.
