OMG~

Leonard put up 51 points in just three quarters and ended the game shooting 17 out of 26, boasting around 65% shooting efficiency, dominating with 55 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 steals, and 3 blocks to guide the Clippers to a 112-99 thrashing of the top Eastern team, the Pistons.

A contemporary Jordan, the title is well-earned.

Here are the Clippers’ stats:

Here are the Pistons’ stats:

A healthy Leonard is undeniably powerful, consistently carrying the team in recent games. He has led the Clippers to four straight wins, averaging a stellar 39 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2.8 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game during this stretch, single-handedly pulling the team out of the slump and officially starting their march northward.

However, looking at Leonard’s playing time over these four games, averaging about 40 minutes, I still worry a bit. His endurance has always been an issue. Tyronn Lue should manage his minutes carefully, or else he might end up back in the hospital, and the Clippers’ momentum would stall just as it begins.

By the way, remember when some said Leonard was a liability in the trade market...

As for our own Paul George, during the four-game winning streak, he averaged 28 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 7.3 assists, continuing to be the team’s strategic brain. Leonard, as mentioned, takes charge on the front lines. Whenever these two click, it’s a perfect match. Even at a combined age of 70, they can still dominate the league.

Speaking of the Clippers’ four wins, the most ironic part is that Zubac, sidelined with a grade 2 left ankle sprain, hasn’t played but the team has surged forward. This season, he’s averaging 15.6 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1 block per game with a 60.9% shooting rate.

Replacing Zubac as the Clippers’ starting center, Ivica Zubac’s substitute, Lopežić, hit 14 of 28 three-pointers during the four wins, shooting an impressive 50%. As a stretch big man, his presence has created more offensive space for his teammates.

So far,the Clippers hold a 10-21 record, ranking 13th in the Western Conference, only 2.5 games behind the 10th-place Trail Blazers.Meanwhile, the Thunder are left crying in the bathroom, with no hope for next year’s top draft pick. The Clippers’ 2026 unprotected first-round pick has already been traded to the Thunder.

Finally, I have to say once again: Leonard is incredible.
