Breaking news! Simmons’ new career revealed! He announces his NBA comeback timeline.

Wow, the missing man is back, and Simmons has ventured into professional fishing as a new career.

According to insider Spears,Simmons has taken ownership of the South Florida Sailing Team under the Sports Fishing Championship (SFC).The SFC was established in 2021 and is a professional nearshore saltwater fishing league comprising 16 professional fishing clubs in total.

Although Simmons is gearing up to become a pro angler, he has not given up on returning to the NBA, as he himself revealedhe might come back mid-season or at the latest by next season.

Born on July 20, 1996, Simmons was the first overall pick in 2016. He has played for Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and the Clippers. Over eight seasons, he has appeared in 383 regular-season games, averaging 13.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game; in 39 playoff games, he averaged 12.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.2 steals.

His peak came quickly and faded just as fast, with highlights concentrated between the 2017-21 seasons. During that time, he was named Rookie of the Year, selected once to the All-NBA Team, twice to the All-Defensive Team, led the league in steals once, was a three-time All-Star, and was even considered LeBron James’ successor.

Since the summer of 2021, Simmons has suffered continuous injuries and a dramatic decline in performance, falling from an All-Star player to a marginal figure. He failed to secure an NBA contract during this summer’s off-season and is currently without a team.

As for Simmons’ claim of returning to the NBA this season or next... let’s hope his dream comes true.

During the 24-25 season with the Clippers, Simmons averaged 2.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in the regular season, and 0.8 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in the playoffs. His offensive skills have nearly vanished, leaving only passing and defense as his strengths. Frankly, he has become quite a liability—neither useful nor easy to discard.

Though Simmons doesn’t play much, it hasn’t stopped him from earning a fortune, with his total NBA career earnings estimated at around $203 million, averaging $530,000 per regular-season game played. He is truly the ultimate example of a laid-back worker coasting through the job.
