The Los Angeles Dodgers have reached agreements with all four of their arbitration-eligible players, avoiding the salary arbitration process.

Today is the deadline for MLB arbitration-eligible players to sign new contracts with their teams. The Dodgers reached agreements with outfielder Alex Call for $1.6 million, relief pitcher Brock Stewart for $1.3 million, and bullpen pitcher Anthony Banda for $1.625 million. With these deals, all four of the team's arbitration-eligible players have successfully signed, thus avoiding arbitration hearings.

During the offseason, the Dodgers had four players eligible for arbitration. Yesterday, the team agreed to a $2.8 million contract with relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol, who appeared only seven times last year. Before today’s negotiation deadline, the Dodgers secured one-year deals with Call, Stewart, and Banda. Both Call and Banda were members of last year’s World Series championship team, and Banda, entering arbitration for the second time, saw his salary increase from $1 million to $1.625 million.

It is worth noting that since Andrew Friedman took over as the Dodgers' president 12 seasons ago, 91 players have been arbitration-eligible, with 83 of them signing contracts before the arbitration salary exchange deadline, a success rate of 91.2%. Furthermore, the Dodgers have only gone to salary arbitration hearings twice in the past 19 years, involving slugger Joc Pederson and relief pitcher Pedro Báez in 2020.
